Make an impact today and create a legacy of faith for tomorrow.
There are several ways to support Bridge Church beyond a traditional cash gift. Non-cash giving can include IRA Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs), gifts of stocks and securities, donor-advised funds, and cryptocurrency. Depending on your circumstances, these giving options may provide significant tax benefits while allowing you to support the ministry and mission of Bridge Church.
Because everyone’s financial and tax situation is different, we encourage you to consult your tax advisor, financial advisor, or attorney to determine which option may be right for you.
Once you have decided how you would like to give, please contact Jamie Halquist, our Finance Manager, at [email protected] for instructions and procedural information.

IRA Giving
If you are 70½ or older, you may be able to make a charitable gift directly from your IRA through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD). A QCD allows you to transfer funds directly from your IRA to a qualified charitable organization such as Bridge Church. When properly structured, the distribution can be excluded from your taxable income and may count toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD).
Gifts of Stocks and Securities
Donating appreciated stocks, mutual funds, or other securities can be an effective way to support Bridge Church while potentially providing tax advantages. Depending on your circumstances, donating appreciated securities may allow you to avoid capital gains tax on the appreciation while receiving a charitable deduction for the gift.
Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs)
A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a charitable giving account that allows you to make an irrevocable contribution, receive a potential charitable tax deduction, and recommend grants to qualified nonprofit organizations over time. If you already have a donor-advised fund, you can recommend a grant to Bridge Church. If you are interested in establishing a DAF, please contact your financial advisor, accountant, or attorney for guidance.
Cryptocurrency
Cryptocurrency can be donated directly to qualified charitable organizations such as Bridge Church. Depending on your circumstances and how the gift is structured, donating cryptocurrency may provide tax advantages, including the potential to avoid capital gains taxes on appreciated cryptocurrency.
Please consult your tax, financial, or legal advisor regarding your individual circumstances. Bridge Church does not provide tax, financial, or legal advice.
