The 2018 Bridge Youth Missions Experience will be a week long trip to Milwaukee for an unforgettable experience in urban ministry. This will promise to be a life-changing summer for everyone on the trip. Below are all the details that you might need.
Where: Milwaukee, WI (City on a Hill)
When: June 26-July 1
Why: Milwaukee is the 5th poorest city in America and it’s right in our back yard. Students will spend time doing service projects, children ministry, a poverty simulation and learning a lot about the cycle of poverty and the role they play.
Who: Any students in 8th-12th grade (this includes those going into 8th grade in the fall of 2018 and 2018 graduates).
-Cost break down: $450 paid to the District Office in Waupaca
$20 paid to Bridge Church (covers training supplies
leading up to the trip).
How to Apply:
- Go to the Network Student Ministries Site and scroll down to City on a Hill and click “apply for this trip.”
- At this point you will have to create a managed missions account if you have not previously gone on an AIM trip. If you already have a managed missions account, log in and it will take you to the application.
- Things to note in the application process:
-At the “Choose your Trips” page, select “Milwaukee-City on a Hill” as your preferred trip.
-After your application is complete, it will instruct you to send a $50 deposit with a notarized consent form to PO BOX 309, WAUPACA, WI 54981. This consent form can be found on the bottom of the page at studentmin.com/aim/.
- Turn in MKE18 Waiver and $20 to Bridge Church.
Your online application and Bridge Church waiver are due by January 31, 2018 with a $75 deposit (Paid online).
